【Includes digital bonus】 "A new family, a new community, and that person I wanted to forget..." 21-year-old Chiemi Monou lives with her family and works at their peach orchard. Today, Haru, an elementary school third-grader left behind by Chiemi's older sister, comes to live with the Monou family! Having lost his mother after his father, Haru's only request is, "I want to keep playing baseball." Chiemi, finding no reason to refuse, agrees immediately, but her life becomes dramatically more troublesome from this point on! From Date City at the northern tip of Fukushima Prefecture to Shirakawa City at the southern tip, the distance is about 100km! The late-blooming 'youth' story of young people who don't yet know the taste of love begins on the distant Shirakawa baseball field!

21-year-old Chiemi Monou lives at her parents' house in Date City, Fukushima Prefecture, having taken in her nephew Haru, left behind by her late sister. Until yesterday, her life was monotonous, just helping out at the family orchard, but now she has the intense task of shuttling Haru to and from the baseball field in Shirakawa City, 100km away! (She pays for the highway tolls and gas herself!) On top of that, Yu Hozumi, a close friend from junior high school whom she later grew to hate, is the coach for Haru's youth baseball team, the "Shirakawa Stars"... So much for a monotonous life! When the truth behind the "incident" that made Chiemi hate Yu is revealed, the two reconcile after several years. Yu is fixated on his single-minded feelings for Chiemi, while Chiemi remains completely oblivious to Yu's feelings. It seems like a relationship that would never progress, but with the appearance of a junior high classmate, it seems like it might move forward at once, or perhaps not, and there is even a potential for unrequited love... It's an eventful second volume!
